Collegiate Shadow Day

In 2018, the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the American Marketing Association is re-introducing one of its most popular programs: Collegiate Shadow Day.
On this day, DFW area marketing professionals volunteer to host students from one of our local college chapters (University of Texas, Dallas; Southern Methodist University; University of Dallas; University of Texas, Arlington; and Texas Christian University). Students “shadow” the professional at his or her place of work for all or part of the day. They attend meetings, work on brainstorming sessions, help with reports and analyses, and generally get a taste for what life is like in the “real world”. And for lunch, students and sponsors attend the April Chapter Luncheon.
